New Double Garage in a Conservation Area

Yew Trees is an impressive family home in the heart of Grasmere. The owners needed a garage built. This involved excavating the bedrock to give the garage as low a profile as possible,

then facing the new building in Lakeland stone to blend in with its surroundings.

Owner Mr Rowe said “I know it’s a brand new building because I watched being built. But it fits into the environment so well it looks like it’s always been here”
